Northampton General Hospital, (NGH) in historic Northampton combines great healthcare with innovative food. The hospital's Catering Services Manager, Martin Baldwin, uses RATIONAL cooking systems to make up to 2,000 fresh meals daily for patients. Head Chef Roger McClean and his team use high-tech the iVario and iCombi Pro to create 13,000 meals each week. NGH has three active kitchens - one for patients, one for staff and visitors, and another for plating. Thanks to a campaign led by Neely Mozawala, late-shift staff always have food available. NGH's use of the modern cooking systems has made their meals better and faster, setting new standards for hospital food nationwide.
